Bio

Ric Whiteley (Guitar / Vocals)
Ric’s hard work and determination founded The Scapegoats in early 2005 and has continued to push the band forward. As well as being a natural song writer, Ric’s lead solo riffs on the guitar gives the songs depth and emotion.
James Pritchard (Keyboard / Percussion)
Keyboardist James (left) joined the band in late 2009. His mellow soulful sound brings depth to the Scapegoats. James’ influences come from pop geniuses such as Amy Winehouse, and the unforgettable Manic Street Preachers.

Jayne Whiteley (Drums / Percussion)
Jayne started playing drums in 2003 after being bought a drum kit for her 16th birthday. Being self taught, Jayne has developed her skill and style from favourite influences such as The Velvet Underground, The Maccabees, Nada Surf and Radiohead.

Matt Pulford (Bass / Vocals)
Matt began playing bass at secondary school, where he met Ric. His steady and fantastic bass solos keeps The Scapegoats in check, whilst giving a kicking, punchy beat. Matt’s influences include Paul Dixon, Radiohead, Coldplay and Nada Surf.
