Hidden stories from the Video…

Posted on 16th August 2010 to myspace
Well, as with all arty things, there are a few ‘hidden’ stories to tell about the Scapegoats first music video:

a) The original story line involved Pulf walking around Harrow longing over girls. This soon involved into an office as it was easier to film.

b)
The’flash backs’ between Ric and his assult on his boss, Mr Punter, are
a reference to the Alan Partridge flashbacks in ‘I’m Alan Partridge’. Would you like me to lapdance for you???

c) The Kristina-Pulf scene took the longest to film. Ding dong. Kristina is wearing one of Jayne’s dresses in the dream scene.

d) Keyboard player Jim-Jimmy is not in the video very much as he only became a full-time member after filming.

e) The locations are actually, boringly, found in Pinner.

f) A picture of World cup hero ‘Bobby Moore’ can be seen on the desk in the office- a reference to a departed member.

g) Jayne’s hair is different coloured in the office scene to the band scenes – they were filmed some weeks apart and she got her haired dyed differently.

h) We were miming.

Yawn….well hope that cleared a few things up. Anything I have missed???
Hope to see you at the next gig…details coming soon…..

Where has Lee Nickson gone…?

Posted on 27th July 2010 to myspace

A while ago, a mysterious figure by the name LEE NICKSON, got in contact
– saying he had been ‘following’ the Scapegoats for a while, coming to
gigs, and found us amusing.

He then started to publise
http://scapegoatsdejour.bl..ogspot.com/, which was good fun, but a
little warts et al. He then fell off the planet.

We suspected a few people – mainly Kristina Frenchum – but as yet no
evidence has been found.

So, if you are/were
Lee Nickson, please get in contact. We’d
love to meet.

All the best,

The Scapegoats

Clapham and Hayes – London's hot spots

Posted on 22nd May 2010 to myspace

Evening,

We had a great time in Clapham on Thursday and although didn’t win the battle of the bands (Rich really wants to win one one day!), meet three other bands as well as locals musicians. We shall happily return to the The Secret Library, Clapham.

We will be playing a couple of gigs for Hayes Fm over the summer, with the first outing today (22nd May) for an acoustic act in Hayes. Check out Hayes fm @ www.hayesfm.org. We’re onstage 12.30pm.

Loads of local stuff in the pipeline, so hope to see you in the scorching summer heat.

All the best,
The Scapegoats
